The Bridge Hotel & Spa in Walshford, Yorkshire is a beautiful hotel offering the ideal opportunity to get away and enjoy a relaxing stay near Wetherby, whether you want to make full use of the spa, head out onto the golf course or simply enjoy spending time in the countryside.

The Courtyard Restaurant
With it's warm and inviting atmosphere, The Courtyard Restaurant serves up a range of delicious dishes for evening meals and most lunchtimes. Food ranges from plates like steaks and burgers to Thai green curries and more. Sunday lunches are set menus from the carvery with fish and a vegetarian option also available. Dogs are not permitted in the Courtyard Restaurant.
Byron Whisky Bar
The Byron Whisky Bar has a very traditional feel with oak panelling and fireplace for that real country/cosy feel. The bar serves a selection of light meals and bar snacks, such as sandwiches and salads, as well as a range of drinks, including, of course, a range of whiskies to enjoy.

If you love a spa break, you'll enjoy taking advantage of the on-site Courtyard Spa at the hotel. Guests can book a range of treatments from the menu, as well as use the facilities like the Japanese foot spa, eucalyptus steam room and outdoor hot tub for an extra cost. If you're visiting just for the day, there are also several spa day packages available including afternoon tea and couples packages. Rooms
There are three room types available at The Bridge Hotel, Standard Rooms, Club Rooms and Suites. One accessible room is also available upon request which features a wide entrance door, walk in shower, grab rails and low switches. The hotel is also a pet friendly hotel with a number of dog-friendly rooms available for an additional supplement. Water/food bowls and treats are available within this charge but dogs must not be left unattended in rooms.

The hotel has 19 standard rooms, each offering guests a cosy stay both as twin rooms and doubles. Standard rooms all feature private bathrooms, an LCD TV, free WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities.

Wetherby itself is a cute town in North Yorkshire, set on the River Wharfe, ideal for taking a wander around and grabbing a bite to eat or drink. There are a number of pubs near the hotel and in the local area that you can visit for a bite to eat, like The Bay Horse in Kirk Deighton, The Castle Inn in Spofforth and The Kestrel on the outskirts of Harrogate.
Walks
Whether you've got a dog or not, there are a variety of long and short walks in the area which are great for getting in some exercise and seeing the local scenery. The hotel can help guide you where to go depending on the length of your walk and what you would like to see.
Tockwith Motor Sports Centre
A 10 minute drive from the hotel is Tockwith Motor Sports Centre, a driving training and karting centre which is a really fun way to spend an afternoon. You can experience driving a race car and go karting training, learning things like skidding and more.
Harrogate
A really lovely day out is a trip over to Harrogate. A 30 minute drive from the hotel, Harrogate is perfect for exploring, enjoying a bit of shopping or just taking in the scenery followed by a nice bite to eat. Getting Here
Located just off the A1 near Walshford, The Bridge Hotel can be easily accessed by car, being a 25 minute drive from Harrogate, and a 30 minute drive from both York and Leeds. If travelling by train, the nearest station is Cattal which is on the slower Leeds to York railway line. A complimentary shuttle service from Cattal Station to The Bridge is available between 9am - 6pm Monday to Fridays and must be prebooked with the hotel. Outside of these hours you'll need to get a taxi from Cattal station (about 2 miles). Taking a taxi from Leeds or York may also be an option.
