Playa d'en Bossa is actually located close to Ibiza airport, with many hotels here just a 10-15 minute drive away, meaning you can be by the pool or on the beach soon after landing. You can fly direct to Ibiza, mainly during the summer months between April and October, from many UK airports including London Stansted, Manchester, Belfast and Edinburgh. Once arrived, there are several ways to reach the resort depending on your budget and time available.
Taxi / Car Hire
Driving is the quickest way to get between Ibiza airport and Playa den Bossa. It'll take about 10-15 minutes depending on the part of the region you're staying in. A taxi will cost around €15 each way. Hiring a car is also a great way to get to Bossa and also explore the island. There are so many fantastic parts of Ibiza to discover, from quaint hilltop villages to quiet coves with sandy beaches.
Bus
There is a bus which runs between the airport and the Renault V bus stop before travelling into Evissa. The journey runs every 30 minutes during the day, although make sure to check the bus times if you need to get back to catch a flight. The bus takes around 30 minutes and costs a few Euros.
Pre-booked Airport Transfer
If you're booking your holiday through a tour operator, you may have the option of adding on airport transfers, or they may even be included with certain providers like TUI or Jet2holidays. This can be an easy and affordable way to get from the airport to your hotel. Alternatively, you can add this on to your booking, or book separately before you travel.

So whether you prefer to settle into one and chill for the rest of the day, or make your way along trying out all the fab cocktails on offer, you'll love it here. Try Beachouse Ibiza which is open from late April - September and turns lively in the late afternoons, with live DJs, contemporary food for lunch and dinner, and a simply stunning setting with plam trees and sea views.

Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza are two of the most famous clubs here, with Ushuaïa hosting incredible daytime sets by the pool. You'll definitely have to book early to get a space at one of their pool parties.
Day Trip Into Ibiza Town
If you're not suffering too badly and fancy a day away from the sand or pool, head to Ibiza town which is home to plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife. The 5-10 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk (depending on which part you're visiting) takes you into the bustling town centre, which is Ibiza's capital city. Make sure to head over to Ibiza Old Town, near Evissa Habour, including Dalt Vila. It's here you'll also find famous places like Ibiza Castle for a bit of culture, and Pacha nightclub for another wild night out.
Day Trips
There are plenty of day trips you can also do from here, which can be organised in advance, at your hotel, or at numerous shops and outlets. Day trips to San Antonio, the Aguamar water park and sightseeing tours of the island are just a few on offer. And don't forget the boat trips too. Chilled trips out to see the dolphins and enjoy the sunshine are a far cry from the infamous boat parties that take place on the waves so make sure you choose your trip wisely. These excursions can be booked online in advance of your travelling, either directly with the operator or through an agent like Viator, or you can buy tickets when you arrive which may help save you money.

Clubs In Playa D'en Bossa
Home to a number of incredible clubs, Playa den Bossa combines the best of clubbing and beach holidays. Many of the hotels along here have pool parties, but there are two clubs in particularly you simply cannot miss.
Ushuaïa
One of the most iconic clubs in Ibiza, Ushuaïa is home to both a hotel and club, regularly hosting amazing parties by the pool with world famous DJs including Calvin Harris and Kygo. The biggest line ups are on Friday and Saturday nights but as June, July and August get into full swing, midweek parties play host to other incredible talents like David Guetta and Martin Garrix.
Hï Ibiza
Previously Space Ibiza which closed in 2016, the club was bought by Ushuaïa Entertainment and reopened it with the new name of Hï Ibiza. Like many clubs in Ibiza, the season opens in April and runs through to September/October time. The club is set back from Playa d'en Bossa beach but lineups have included incredible names like The Martinez Brothers, Damian Lazarus and WhoMadeWho.
Octan
Previously known as Sankeys, Octan is perhaps a lesser known club in Ibiza but offers an incredible atmosphere and music. Focused on electronic music, its three main rooms and rooftop terrance ensure everyone enjoys their favourite music, with previous DJs including Detlef, Danny Howard and iglesias.
NOTE: There are new drinking restrictions in certain parts of Ibiza. It is important you known about this before you book to avoid disappointment and follow local laws on alcohol drinking.
Booking A Holiday
Booking a flight inclusive holiday through a reputable tour operator which has ABTA and/or ATOL protection is always the recommended way to book. This can help ensure financial protection should your holiday company, airline or hotel go bust. Brands like On The Beach holidays, Loveholidays, and Vibe by Jet2holidays all offer this. You might be inclined to book your flights and accommodation separately, particularly with low cost airlines like Ryanair, which sometimes works out cheaper, however, if you do this, make sure you get comprehensive travel insurance and check the most up-to-date travel advice on the FCDO (Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office) website.
