Getting To, From & Around Portinatx
Located on the northern tip of Ibiza, you couldn't get much further from the airport. The journey from Ibiza airport to Portinatx will take around 50-60 minutes by coach transfer or around 40 minutes if you're hiring a car or taking a private transfer from the airport. A taxi from Ibiza airport to Portinatx will cost around €90-100 each way.
Things To Do In Portinatx
Portinatx is one of Ibiza's sleepier towns with a few hotels dotted about the area, along with a few restaurants and one or two bars. This is the place to escape, enjoy the beautiful azure blue waters of the Mediterranean, take a walk along the coastline and enjoy a real escape of a holiday. A walk to Punta Moscarter lighthouse will make sure you work up an appetite for dinner.
Excursions are still possible, and can be organised through your hotel, holiday rep or online, allowing you to see more of the island. Boat trips are also worth taking a look at for something different to do, but you should explore this part of the island by car.
Hotels In Portinatx
There are just a few hotels in Portinatx so you're limited in choice compared to other parts of Ibiza, however, they are of a good standard and suitable for all guests. If you're looking for a quiet, adults only holiday in Ibiza, the Barcelo Portinatx and Sandos El Greco hotels are both excellent four-star hotels which are close to the beach. The Club Portinatx Hotel and Presidente Hotel on the other hand, cater for the cheap family holiday.
