All inclusive cruises can be the perfect way to enjoy a fun and exciting, or relaxing cruise, without having to worry about how much your spending, especially if you've got the kids to feed. All cruise lines vary in what they offer, and even if they don't provide all drinks included as standard, there are often drinks and other packages you can buy. Companies Offering All Inclusive Cruises

Marella Cruises

Marella Cruises is owned by TUI, so you know to expect a certain standard of service and facilities once on board. And this can be great if you're a fan of the usual flight and hotel holidays to places like Greece, Turkey and the Canary Islands.

Most Marella cruises are fly cruises in the Mediterranean or Caribbean, so when you book a holiday, your flights from the UK are also included, as well as airport transfers to the port. On top of that you have all your meals and snacks, a standard drinks package (which you can upgrade) and tips, so you don't have to worry about that either.

Celebrity Cruises

Although Celebrity Cruises aren't all inclusive, it's easy to add on drinks packages so that they are. Plus a basic WiFi package is available to all guests as standard. And while Marella offers fly-cruises, you can enjoy an all inclusive cruise from Southampton with Celebrity, to popular destinations like the Mediterranean, Norwegian Fjords, and mini cruises to Bruges and Rotterdam.

Other Companies

Pretty much all the other cruise companies like P&O Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and Royal Caribbean aren't all inclusive as standard but you can add on various packages to make them more comparable with Marella and Celebrity.

What's Included

What's included in an all inclusive cruise will depend on who you book with as they can all vary to a degree. Food is included with all cruises, no matter who you travel with. Many have specialist and a la carte restaurants like dedicated vegan menus, or a sushi bar which can cost extra.

A standard drinks package is usually included as well, which offers soft drinks and select alcholic drinks like beers and wines. Premium drinks packages can then also be bought for premium drinks brands.

On some cruise lines like P&O and Marella, your tips are also included, so you don't need to worry about adding this on when signing for your bill, or leaving money for the cabin attendant.

Some cruise companies like Marella, will also include a coach transfer between the airport and the port if you are doing a fly-cruise. This can hep save on extra taxi costs.

Add-On Packages & Extras

All inclusive cruise packages can vary, and even with an all inclusive cruise, there are usually extra packages you can add on or upgrade to, like premium alcohol brands and better Wi-Fi packages.

Excursions

Excursions are one thing that are never included. These are obviously very personal so you won't always want to do the same thing as everyone else, and sometimes you might not even want to get off in a port, and instead enjoy the ship while it's quiet. Cruise excursions can be pricey sometimes, but ways to save include booking early with a loyalty discount, or waiting until you are on board to see if there are any last minute discounts.

Spa

Access to the spa and spa treatments aren't included either. You can expect to pay extra for access to spa facilities including a sauna, steam room and hydrothermal suite and pool. Access to the main swimming pools on board is free. Spa treatments will also cost extra, but many have discounts available for multiple treatment packages once you're on board.

Hotel Stays

With most companies, you also have the option to add on a hotel stay at the start or end of your holiday, which can be great to spending a little more time in the destination.
