There is an indoor pool in the spa area which is for adults only, except mornings when children can be accompanied by an adult. Oh and there's plenty of sunloungers too.

With a huge range of sports and activities on offer like cooking classes, competitions and gameshows, as well as splash park, playground and schools like the Swim School and family football, this place is perfect for a family holiday. The clubs are split between the BabyClub for babies, the Minis (3-5 year olds), the Maxis (6-11 year olds), and the Hangout for 12-15 year olds, making it ideal for teenagers too.

For grown ups there's a gym with various cardio machines and weight training equipment and certain classes too like yoga. There's also a BLUEfit For Families programme too. The Flamingo Spa & Wellness Centre is the ideal spot for a bit of rest and relaxation. Beach

Step out the hotel and across the promenade and you'll be on the gorgeous sandy beach of Playa Flamingo. The beach is sheltered a bit here by rocks so is ideal for building sandcastles and spending a fun, family day on the soft sand. This is one of the very few sandy beaches in Lanzarote, but if you're hiring a car, why not head to Playa Mujeres or Playa del Pozo a little further along the coast?#

Water Sports

Although the hotel doesn't offer watersports, you can easily book a kayaking or snorkelling session at Papagayo. You're also a 10-15 minute walk from the marina which has boat trips and catamaran tours.

Getting There

By far the simplest and easiest way to get to the Flamingo Beach Hotel is by organised coach transfer. When booking a TUI package holiday, this is usually included within the price and is one less thing you have to worry about. If you've booked a holiday including transfers with a free child place, the child place will also be included. If you want to explore the island, you can book car hire in advance and pick it up at the airport. The journey from Lanzarote airport to the hotel takes around 30-40 minutes.
