Amenities

As with all TUI BLUE resorts, there is a great selection of facilities and services on offer here, from the swimming pools, splash park and swimming lessons, to the evening entertainment and much more.

Swimming Pools

There are two main outdoor swimming pools here, the big, main swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers, and a family pool. There's also the splash park which has several fun activities for the little ones and several waterslides for the bigger kids too. There isn't an indoor pool here.

Entertainment

During the day, there's plenty of hosted activities as part of the entertainment programme, which you can find by downloading the TUI BLUE app and selecting TUI BLUE Elounda Breeze to see what's going on this week. As the sun sets, there's indoor and outdoor evening entertainment during the week, including a mini disco for kids, shows and live music at the amphitheatre.

Kids' Clubs

Like all TUI BLUE hotels, you've got kids' clubs for children. Separated into three age groups, Bamse Blue for 3-5 year olds, @611 for 6-11 year olds, and The Hangout which is a dedicated space with video games and other acitivities for teenagers. There's also a Baby Club, open six days a week with fully trained TUI staff if you need a little babysitting during the day. There's also a playground for children and cooking classes. You can also hire certain baby equiment like pushchairs and bottle warmers. It's worth arranging soon after you book so that they are ready for when you arrive.

Spa & Gym

There is a gym here with cardio equipment and weights, however there is an additional charge for this, and a sauna, however, other spa facilities are minimal. Massages and other treatments are available to book for a charge. The BlueFit programme was set up by TUI to encourage families to keep fit together. With classes ranging from yoga and wellness to dance and aerobics, there's a bunch of fitness activities for the family to join in on.

Sports Facilities

Along with the BLUEF!t programme, other sports activities on offer include water polo, volleyball, football and tennis in the sports court, as well as a playground for children. One of the most popular activities at the hotel is the Swim School. Although it costs extra, it gets booked up very quickly so if you're keen for your children to take part, make sure you book them spaces on the app as soon as you book your holiday.

Food & Drink

All Inclusive

As an all inclusive hotel, your food and most drinks will be included. This includes all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in the buffet restaurant, as well as poolside snacks and drinks. There are also two a la carte restaurants.

The main buffet restaurant is where you'll eat all your meals on your all inclusive holiday. There are salad and dessert stations, along with a range of international and local dishes, with theme nights to help mix the fresh food offering up a bit. There's also a dedicated children's section with some of their favourites.

The Taverna

Guests staying for a week all inclusive can enjoy one a la carte meal at The Taverna, a Greek restaurant which offers tapas and other local specialities.

Green & Grill

Green & Grill is the other a la carte restaurant, offering a Mediterranean inspired selection of grilled fish, meat and vegetable dishes. Hotel guests staying for a week can enjoy one meal here as part of their dining package.

THEAS Coffee Shop

The hotel coffee shop and juice bar costs extra, but you can pick up a speciality coffee or delicious healthy juice along with a few snacks too.

Bars

There are three bars here including The Bar (the main bar at the hotel), the Stage Bar, and the beach bar (which costs extra).

Things To Do

Being in a quieter part of Crete island, this hotel is suited to those who want to relax within the resort, however, there are a few other bits and pieces you can do outside of the hotel.

Beach

There is a small private beach closeby (about a 5-10 minute walk) which is ideal if you want a change of scenery from the pool. There are steep slopes down to the beach so keep that in mind for those who aren't stable on their feet or if you have a children's buggy.

Day Trips & Excursions

Crete is such a beautiful island and there is so much to see and do. Booking onto a day trip or an excursion can be the perfect way to see a bit more of Crete. You can either speak to your TUI holiday rep in the resort, or you can book onto a trip in advance. Check companies like Viator who have a huge range of things to do in Crete, ranging from olive oil and wine tasting tours and cooking experiences, to hiking and boat trips.

Getting Here

When you book a package with TUI, your airport transfers will usually be included. This can be the best and most budget friendly way to get from Heraklion airport to the hotel, especially as the journey will take up to 2 hours depending on other stops along the way. You can also pick up a taxi from outside the airport terminal building. The journey will take around an hour and can cost between €80-100 each way. Car hire is another great way to see the island. You can organise this in advance and pick up your hire car at the airport.
