As one of the UKs popular holiday park brands, Pontins offers families affordable holidays at six fun-filled holiday parks around the UK, perfect for your next holiday in 2024/2025. Parks are now open with various Coronavirus health and safety restrictions in place.
With a range of holiday types from adult only to music themed breaks, holiday parks cater really well for all sorts of holidaymakers, with plenty of entertainment and activities to enjoy. Take the kids away over the summer and forget the airport queues and delays. Instead make sure you spend quality time with friends and family.

Entertainment
Each Pontins site has a variety of entertainment on offer from the Pontin's mascots, Croc Crew's parties to themed weekends and cabaret acts.
Bluecoats & The Croc Crew
The Bluecoats team are infamous as the Pontins activity and entertainment team, putting on shows and spectaculars since Pontins began. You can also watch some of the Bluecoats videos online. The Pontin's mascots, the Croc Crew, are now also at resorts for kids, bringing to life a variety of entertainment options during the day and in the evenings at the parks, including the popular crocodile song.
Accommodation
The lead in accommodation type at resorts are the Popular Apartments (apart from at Pakefield). Guests can upgrade to a Classic or Club Apartment. Some resorts also offer luxury bungalows if you're looking to splash out a little and enjoy more privacy.
Pontins Day Passes
If you stay or live local, or you simply fancy a day out, Pontin's Day Passes are a great option, allowing you access to the various activities, fun and entertainment at Pontin's holiday parks. Prices start from as little as £3 per person depending on the park you're visiting and offers access until late into the evening. It's important to note that day passes are not permitted during school holidays and bank holidays.
Themed Weekends
Themed weekends at Pontins are fun and can get booked up very quickly. From comedy focused breaks to tribute weekends, if you're staying during one of these Pontins weekends, make sure you've got your constume at the ready. Two night weekend breaks start from as little as £39 per person based on four people sharing an apartment.
Closest Pontins To London
The closest Pontins to London was Pontins Camber Sands in East Sussex, however, since closing, both Pakefield and Sand Bay are about the same distance.
Upgrades
Customers who want to treat themselves can upgrade to club apartments or half board options. Club apartment upgrades mean you can check-in from 2pm, you get free electricity and free bed linen, as well as other extras including a free bottle of wine. If you prefer to limit your cooking on holiday, you can also upgrade to half board or full board (on selected breaks) from as little as pound;15 per person.
Pontins Discount Codes
Generally Pontins doesn't offer discount codes as the holidays a pretty cheap as it is, however, you can snap up a bargain such as 3 night breaks from as little as £59. Pontin's are also included in the Breakfree holiday codes and the Sun holiday codes promotion which start from as little as £10pp and £9.50pp respectively.
Reviews
Pontins reviews in 2024 on TripAdvisor, Trustpilot and Booking.com are relatively low with customers rating the holiday brand 2 stars out of 5. With many of the negative comments around the cleanliness of the park and its accommodations, particularly at Pontins Brean Sands park. Camber Sands, Prestatyn Sands and Southport Pontins have better reviews, with many rating the venues a 5-star, however, all of these parks have now closed.
Closed Pontins Parks
Over the years Pontins has closed a number of its holiday parks including popular locations such as Blackpool, Dolphin Holiday Camp in Devon, and Little Canada on the Isle of Wight. Some of the parks have since been demolished and rebuilt on while others like Hemsby in Norfolk have been left abandoned and where a fire was deliberately started. You can find video footage of drones which have flown over the abandoned buildings online. In 2020, the Pontins Hemsby site was sold to a development company to build 190 homes on the site.
